Meet The Orbit Journal — Ruby Merlot’s first small leather good.

Now crafted from upgraded full-grain leather, featuring refined spiral-stud detailing for a smoother, more elevated finish.

With its spiral-stud details, the Orbit Journal feels almost like an accessory, a piece you’ll want to carry, not just use. Intentional in form and detail, it’s an everyday companion for writing, reflection, and small rituals.

Each journal comes with two A6 notebooks and one random elastic ribbon. Additional ribbons can be purchased — we’ll make sure extra colours aren’t duplicated.

Because this is a tri-fold cover, gentle creases will develop along the folding points. These are natural characteristics of genuine leather and add to its lived-in texture.

Each piece is individually made, so the placement of silver rivets may vary slightly.

Your Orbit Journal is made from full-grain leather with a smooth coated finish and oil-painted edges for durability.

Avoid contact with water, oils, and alcohol-based products.

If wet, gently pat dry and air-dry naturally.

The painted edges are sealed but may wear slightly with harsh friction.

Beautiful journal

Beautiful leather and love the design of the journal with the spirals and loop. I am using it as a daily journal and its going great so far

a lovely high quality journal, but a bit clunky

the spine of the notebook is made from 3 well spaced attachment elastic bands. this allows you to comfortably add 3+ refills, which is great! BUT it means you do sacrifice a flat lay because the refills in the orbit journal will overlap partially rather than neatly sitting on top each other while you’re writing. because the 3 elastic bands are quite spaced apart, thinner refills will also leave these empty gaps which limit stability when writing.

not to say this isn’t a great product! leather is gorgeous, i love all the different storage areas and places to put charms. have loved using it so far :) worth the price.

I have tried so many planners / planning systems and I have to say this is the best! It’s absolutely stunning and gives cool girl vibes while being functional! I carry this thing everywhere and I mean everywhere. I’ve managed to put 4-5 notebooks (shopping lists, common place, daily planner and a journal) + my passport when travelling. Also, the notebooks that come with the journal are super high quality. My only regret was not buying any charms to go with it 😭😭😭!

If you are on the fence, girl, just checkout it’s so worth it. Yes it is a little more pricey than a standard planner but it is way cheaper than other travellers notebook styles out there + it’s so cute! Also, the team were amazing at answering all my questions on insta <3
