Care guide for your charms
Our charms are made using Zinc Alloy with a protective coating, a material that allows us to create a wide variety of designs with consistent detail and durability.
To keep them in good condition, kindly refer to the following guide.
1. Regular Maintenance: Keep your charms looking their best by gently wiping them with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth after each use. This removes the natural oils, dust, and moisture that can accumulate throughout the day.
2. Avoid Corrosive Substances: To prevent tarnishing, fading, or chemical reactions, please keep your charms away from harsh substances, including:
-
Beauty Products: Alcohol-based products, Perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and makeup removers.
-
Household Cleaners: Alcohol-based products, Detergents, glass cleaners, and especially leather cleaners or conditioning wipes.
-
Environmental Factors: Alcohol, pool water, saltwater, and high-humidity environments.
Please note that even indirect contact with these substances may have an effect on your charms. We recommend wiping them down regularly with a dry cloth to help maintain their condition.
3. Proper Storage When not in use, store your charms in a cool, dry place. For added protection, consider keeping them in an airtight bag or a sealed jewelry box to limit exposure to moisture and air. Including a silica gel packet in your storage can further help absorb excess moisture and extend the condition of your charms.
4. Important "Do nots"
-
Do not use leather-specific products on your metal charms, as these can strip or damage the plating.
-
Do not use abrasive cleaners such as toothpaste or scrubbing pads, as these will permanently scratch the surface.
-
Do not soak your charms in any liquid cleaners.
