For gold-plated charms: Our gold option is 18K gold-plated stainless steel. With proper care, the plating typically retains its gold finish for around one year. As with all plated jewellery, the finish may gradually wear over time depending on frequency of use and exposure to water, sweat, perfume, lotions, and other chemicals. To help preserve the colour, remove your charm before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying products.
